AUSTRALIAN TOURS

When not trekking over the mighty Kokoda Track you will find us exploring amazing locations a little closer to home. Our local tours will have you immersed in everything from pristine ocean views and lush native bushland to the remote northern outback and breathtaking gorges.

CYSTIC FIBROSIS CHARITY TREK – CAPE TO CAPE, WA

In your 8 day – 7 night Cape to Cape trekking tour you begin at Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse where Travis Hocart will guide you along the south west clifftops overlooking stunning ocean scenes, across sand and dunes, through towns and bushland. You will explore hidden gems throughout Yallingup, Ellensbrook, Contos, Prevelley and Hamelin Bay before finishing the coastal adventure at the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse. A total of 130km with part proceeds being donated to Conquer Cystic Fibrosis.

KIMBERLEY FRONTIER ODYSSEY, WA

Join Travis Hocart and former Special Air Service Regiment Terry Hewett as they guide you on a 8 day – 7 night journey of a lifetime through the unspoilt Kimberley wilderness in far north Western Australia. We are venturing to the East Kimberly, in the upper watershed area of the Dunham River, surrounded by the Durack Range. This isolated pocket remains a raw frontier, remote, wild and trackless. Yes … trackless … we are not following any man-made walking tracks. Apart from rugged 4X4 tracks, we will be trekking along the river and creek systems, whilst navigating our way over the landscape using local knowledge combined with a map and compass.

“Having previously served in the army myself and with a keen interest in Australian military history, trekking the Kokoda Track had been on my bucket list for years and I finally completed it with Trav and his team at Kokoda Crossing in October 2019. From the time I signed on, the admin, logistics and physical training support provided by Trav was excellent. It took any apprehension out of the individual planning and set a solid foundation for smooth sailing from start to finish. The hard work Trav has put in to making it the best experience possible really became apparent after arriving in country and starting trek. His hand picked porter team were outstanding  throughout and were tireless in taking great care of us. The depth of knowledge passed on by Trav along the trek was well researched and it is obvious he is passionate about passing on the history of the Kokoda campaign and telling the stories of the men who suffered, fought and died throughout it. Overall it was an amazing experience and I cannot recommend Trav and his team at Kokoda Crossing highly enough.”
